Yesterday I showed up to my own listing and realized it needed just a little extra love before today’s showing. So I did what I always do, loaded up my vacuum and got it show ready.
This is the part of my job you don’t always see.
Not just listing homes, but caring for them like they’re my own.

I get asked frequently how I got into real estate, and it’s a story close to my heart. I got my license 16 years ago to work alongside my dad. My first company was Taggart Properties, where I spent 4 ½ amazing years until my dad passed away.

Afterward, I kept my license but didn’t do much business—until the last 6-7 years when my career truly took off. I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity my dad gave me and the memories we created, not only at Taggart Properties but also at Taggart’s Floor Covering and Remodeling.

It always feels extra special when my dad’s trusted home inspector or lender is part of one of my transactions—it’s like a little piece of him is still with me.
