Meet Your REALTOR Monday March 9, 2026

The Tide Table Group has done it again with a fabulous new restaurant just off the Island in West Creek — Hollow Pines.

If you’re not familiar with the Tide Table Group, they also own several local favorites including Black Whale, Old Causeway, Bird & Betty’s, Ship Bottom Shellfish, and more.

Hollow Pines has a rustic, lodge-like feel spread across three levels. The first level features a bar and Duckpin bowling, making it a fun and unique spot to gather. The second level offers a long bar and dining tables, while the third level includes another bar along with additional seating.

Outdoor seating is also planned (not open just yet) and will be a great place to enjoy the beautiful weather coming our way.

The menu leans toward comfort food favorites with options like pigs in a blanket, baked brie, salads, chicken pot pie, house-made pastas, and tomato soup with grilled cheese.

While my table didn’t indulge this time, I always recommend saving room for dessert!

If you enjoy the other restaurants owned by the Tide Table Group, you’ll definitely want to add Hollow Pines to your rotation.

Meet Your REALTOR Monday March 2, 2026

Welcome March — one month closer to Summer 2026. Hooray! ☀️

While inventory on LBI remains limited, new homes are still coming to market — and many are moving quickly.

Last week, one of my buyer clients was interested in a new listing. After touring the home, he decided to submit an offer. Within just a few days, the property had multiple offers, and we were asked to present our highest and best.

During the COVID market, multiple-offer situations were the norm. Today, we don’t see them quite as often — but they absolutely still happen on well-priced, desirable homes.

In competitive situations like this, I often guide buyers (when comfortable) toward strategies that can strengthen their offer, such as:

• A higher down payment
• Flexible contingency terms
• A quicker closing timeline

The right strategy can make all the difference in a fast-moving market.
