Here’s a local event Rahway families will want to know about! Garden of Ink found a pretty creative way to give back to the community — collecting school supply donations in exchange for tattoos — and now those supplies are going directly to local kids.

And I’m a little disappointed I missed the donation part because I would’ve loved to contribute… and I’m ALWAYS up for an excuse for a new tattoo.

Turns out, my definition of chic has changed a little over the years.

It’s giving myself grace while still growing. Prioritizing my health. Protecting my time and energy. Choosing the people who choose me. Having incredible friends and family to do life with. Actually liking the person I married. Traveling, making memories, experiencing new places… and being grateful for where I am while still being excited about where I’m going.

And yes, knowing the comps AND where we should grab a cocktail after the showing still makes the list.

A beautiful life isn’t just about how it looks. It’s about how it feels.
