Is the Union County, NJ real estate market finally shifting?
Higher mortgage rates, longer days on market, price reductions… there’s a lot of conversation happening around the housing market right now. But what do the actual numbers tell us?
I’ve been digging into the latest Garden State MLS data, and one thing is clear: not every Union County town is experiencing the same market.
📍 Cranford, NJ: Homes sold in September averaged just 18 days on market.
📍 Rahway, NJ: Homes sold in September averaged 44 days on market.
That’s a pretty significant difference within the same county!
So, are homes taking longer to sell? Are sellers starting to adjust their expectations? And are buyers finally gaining some negotiating power?
The answer depends on WHERE you’re looking, the price point, and the property itself.
