Timothy's Farmstead Farm Animal Rescue

For anyone who stayed at the Airbnb on our farm in the past and fell in love with our rescue animals, our sweet old man rooster “Marshy” is in his final weeks or months. Of all our animals, he was hands down everyone’s favorite. A giant, friendly rooster who never met a stranger and loves being hand fed and faithfully showed up at the guest house every morning to meet our new guests. At 9 years old, this old man has fought off more hawks than you can imagine and battled lots of severe injuries. He was diagnosed with kidney failure today by our vet (yes, he goes to the Vet 😁) and his time here is coming to an end. Until then, he will be enjoying his favorite thing on earth next to oyster cracker treats…..and that’s his 20 minute warm Epsom salt baths which helps his swollen joints. He also gets special meds for inflammation from our truly amazing Vet Dr. Del Pozo from Byland Animal Hospital who is an absolute gem.

We are going to be looking for a home for mom and daughter kitten. Momma kitty was one of 10 cats that’s were dumped on our property recently. She had 5 kittens, but we were unfortunately only able to save this sweet girl who is approximately 7 weeks old. Our mom is currently fostering both as we are deathly allergic to cats. The baby she has named Bo**er, and both appear to be Calico. We will be taking the momma in this week (July 15) to be spayed and vaccinated, and the baby will be fixed and vaccinated when she’s old enough prior to being adopted out. Bo**er is very friendly with my mom but skittish at first, very playful, and absolutely beautiful. The mom is about a year and a half and will be sweet down the road, but is absolutely terrified and just wants to disappear 💔. She does enjoy attention from my mom and loves to be pet, but is terrified of everyone else. She’s had a rough life but each day she makes progress. We would love to adopt them out together as momma is obsessed with her little one, especially after her other 4 died. We are in Shreve, OH 44676 (Holmes county). Looking for a very quiet home for them as they are accustomed to being with an old lady now in a quiet environment and won’t do well with kids or chaos. Will include extras including toys and food, and no fee is required.

More cuteness. I think Toby (the cat) is smiling ☺️

Can’t get enough of these two babies. Both arrived here around the same time in really rough shape, but they found love in each other and spend every evening starting around 6:00 snuggling like this ❤️❤️🥰
