We had a great time Tuesday! KonaIce came by and residents were able to get free shaved ice. This event was sponsored by Lincoln Heritage Funeral Arrangements. It sure was nice on a HOT day!

We had a GREAT day at the fair yesterday. Seniors from everywhere showed up for the event. I don't know how many came by our booth, but i would guess 800-1000. I was able to go around to the other vendors and see and meet with new ones and learn about their services they offer and how they can help our residents.
The music was great and the three of us managed to get our picture taken. We went out to the fair for lunch and food was really good! But expensive!

The Shreveport Police Department and the Caddo Council on Aging paired up an brought fans over to our residents yesterday. We had several that signed up for one because these dawg days have been HOT!!!. We want to thanks all those involved for bring the fans and those that donate as well. Everybody try to stay coooooooool.
