he has several profiles) has loudly made false claims about me and my company, Lighthouse Home Rentals. Since he has recently started actually naming me and my company rather than just making vague references I believe I have to set the record straight.
Lighthouse Home Rentals is the trade name for several properties in town. One of those properties is at 622 Euclid, where we unfortunately allowed Mr. Anderson to rent an apartment. That particular building is owned by Lighthouse on Woodrow, LLC, for which I am the registered agent. Mr. Anderson has repeatedly claimed that we are a "scam" because we "don't own the property". He presented his "proof" in court at the eviction hearing. HIs proof was the document showing that Lighthouse on Woodrow, LLC bought the property at sheriff sale. I have placed excerpts from the minutes of that hearing here. To quote the judge, his claim that Lighthouse Home Rentals doesn't own the property doesn't "hold water." (see lines 11 and 12 of the minutes).
2. Mr Anderson claims his rent was paid and he was forced out anyway. See page 8 line 30 thru page 9 line 2. He admitted to the judge that he had not paid his rent. The "receipt" I have seen him post on other forums is the receipt for HUD paying their portion. Mr. Anderson's portion had not been paid for November, December and January. His portion of the rent, along with accrued late charges came to just over $1,100.
3. Mr. Anderson claimed he was forced out illegally and was threatened. We followed all procedures and received an eviction order from Judge Merckle and executed a writ of possession through the marshal's office. The closest thing to a threat was that I posted a tresspass notice on his door making it clear that once the eviction order had been completely complied with that he was no longer welcome on the property and if he were to show up he would be subject to arrest.
I hope I didn't get too much mud on me by wrestling the pig. If you are having trouble sleeping and need a sedative, DM me and I will happily email all 9 pages of the minutes to the hearing. If you want to go get your own copy (at $20 PER PAGE) it is case number 2024E06688. The hearing was January 14th. I'll even send you the sheriff sale document.
And if you want to hear (as Paul Harvey says)...the REST of the story, let's get together for coffee. This one hearing isn't a drop in the bucket of the harassment Mr. Anderson has been dishing out. And if you are wondering if we will give him a good rental reference.. Uh NO.

Ok folks, I'm going to go out on a limb and risk pulic humiliation to get your honest (hopefully not too brutal!) feedback. As many of you know I am a Realtor. What you might NOT know is that I am in the Real Estate business to support my habit of singing. I am considering a marketing approach that would combine the two by becoming "The Singing Realtor". I would offer a 1 hour performance at events at NO CHARGE, if I am able to announce what I do for a living and have a monitor displaying my listings, contact information etc..... So the question is... would this
1. discourage you from referring me to your friends and family because it is weird
2.encourage you to refer me to your friends and family because it is innovative and sets me apart from other Realtors. or
3: Neither.

Watch out for scammers. I just got a call from "the electric company" (she mispronounced swepco), saying we were past due and if she didn't get an email from another department our electricity would be cut off within the hour. I called the number she gave me (red flag #1, Swepco doesn't call when they are about to turn you off). red flag #2, when I called the number she gave me he asked "Is this Karen Johnson Realtor"?. (That's not the name on our account. red flag #3, he said we hadn't paid in 3 months and that our balance was $999.00.. We are on autodraft! Red flag #4 the number she gave me was not the customer service number on my account.
I was a little slow, but I finally caught on. I think he was starting to ask for the bank account number the bill was drafted from. He called me a "Country Girl" and hung up. LIKE CALLING ME A COUNTRY GIRL WAS AN INSULT!!!!!

I’m not going to say who…. but a friend just called and asked if I would loan her $1,600 to help her pay rent. Those who know me know that I am always willing to help out friends & family. I told her to give me some time to think about it and I would call her back. Before I called her back, her brother called to let me know that she was lying and not to give her the money !! He went on to say that the real reason she wanted the $1,600 was to get her boyfriend out of jail so she could be under the same roof as him for his birthday.
I thought about it for a minute and decided to give her the money anyway because we all need help at times & you guys know how soft hearted I am...
A couple of hours later I get a call from the police station. It was her - crying, screaming and asking why I gave her counterfeit money!!!
My response…. so you and your boyfriend could be under the same roof for his birthday! Now when you get out I can sell you a house 🏡
If you laughed, your other friends may want to laugh too!! Go ahead & steal this…… I did! 😂
