One of the biggest misunderstandings in real estate right now is the Buyer Representation Agreement — and it’s important you understand exactly what you’re agreeing to before signing with just any agent.

A Buyer Representation Agreement is a contract between you and a real estate agent that outlines:
✔️ How your agent represents you
✔️ The services they provide
✔️ How they are compensated
✔️ MOST importantly… the LENGTH of time you are committed to working together

Some agreements can lock buyers into working exclusively with an agent for weeks or even MONTHS — even if communication, availability, or service isn’t what you expected.
