This beautiful mural was painted on the overpass that leads into the Dover Air Force base. Recently completed, it's a perfect reminder of the sacrifices made by the men and women who serve in our military. Especially fitting as Dover Air Force base is where those who have been killed in service are flown to, processed, and then returned to their families across the country.

Thank you to those who have served, and those who are currently serving our country. Thank you to their families also. Sacrificing time together while their service member is away. May those currently serving in any capacity here in the US or abroad, remain safe.

FYI-RECEIVED FROM POST 1700

Good morning,

The Post 1700 ALR out of West Endicott, NY are trying to support two worthy causes. This week. We have a members nephew who loves motorcycles that is in line for a transplant. We also have a new friend who is creating a biker calendar in order to raise money to provide comfort supplies to cancer patients. Our goal is to get a nice group photo in front of our POW/MIA memorial for the calendar as well as some various pics and video to put together something nice to send to our member's nephew.

We have a photo shoot scheduled for this coming Thursday (10/14) at 5:30pm. The shoot is at American Legion Post 1700. 305 Maple St. Endicott, NY.

Hope to see you there!
