Let’s truly celebrate and appreciate the Declaration of Independence - the bold promise of freedom that shaped the greatest nation on earth.

As we enjoy the fireworks, let’s never forget the courage, sacrifice and vision that made this country possible. Despite disagreements, despite issues, despite difficult times, remember to always be proud to call this land home.

𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 2025

Today is about remembering those who gave everything. But I think it’s equally, if not more important to reflect on those who are still with us - veterans who return from service carrying invisible wounds, often in silence.

It’s easy (and proper) to thank them with words. But much harder - and way more meaningful - to show up for them with action.

I believe the most powerful way to honor the fallen is to care for the living. That means offering real support, including mental health, human connection and the reminder that no one has to carry the weight alone.

Let’s not only remember what our veterans have done - let’s acknowledge what they continue to do: fight daily battles most of us will never see.

Helping them isn’t just our responsibility - it’s our privilege.
