Have you had radiation in the past? Once your radiation is complete, you may notice that unwanted side effects remain, several months or even years after completing your treatment. These side effects may include:
• The urge to urinate
• Blood in your urine
• A burning sensation when you urinate
• Re**al pain
• Diarrhea
• Nausea/Vomiting
• Re**al bleeding or discharge
• A continuous feeling that you need to have a bowel movement
• Abdominal pain
Missouri Delta Wound & Hyperbaric Center may have the treatment to help relieve or stop these unwanted side effects. We offer Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). HBOT helps to completely relieve or reduce these side effects by stimulating growth of new blood vessels following radiation-induced damage.
