After an insanely busy week at McWoodard, we wanted to share something that truly touched our hearts. 💚

A client’s child wrote this paragraph at school, and honestly, it was one of those little reminders that stopped us in our tracks.

This is the reason we do what we do.

Not every day of owning a business is easy. Not every day is fun. Truthfully, owning a business is HAAARRRDDDD.😂 But then we get little reminders like this from our clients, and we’re reminded of what God has truly blessed us with.

It’s not just about building houses. It’s about building relationships, serving families, and creating something that lasts far beyond the walls we build.

Knowing there are little eyes watching us, learning from us, and looking up to us is something we don’t take lightly. It makes us want to work harder, love bigger, serve better, and build a legacy that is worth looking up to.

Thank you to the sweet little person who unknowingly reminded us that what we’re building matters.

We are so thankful for the families God has trusted us to serve and for the little reminders that what we’re building is about so much more than a house.

We’re not just building houses, We’re building a legacy. And we’re praying it points people back to Him.🤍🏠

Today, McWoodard & Company pauses to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger when others were running away.

We remember the courage, sacrifice, and unity that followed that day. May we never forget the preciousness of life, the strength of our nation, and the importance of standing together.

This Kountze Custom was one of our FAVORITES to build! 🏡❤️

The owner gave us just 3 requests:
✔️ No ceiling fans
✔️ A stained shiplap accent wall in the living room
✔️ And build it as close to his pond as possible so he could walk straight out onto the porch and cast his line! 🎣😂

Other than those three things, he gave us full design reigns, and we had so much fun bringing this one to life!
From the finishes to the details, this home came together so beautifully, and we’re incredibly grateful he trusted McWoodard & Co. with the vision. There’s just something special about building a home around the way someone actually wants to live. ❤️
