đĽ The day rates drop... it's already TOO LATE!
One of the most common reasons buyers tell me they're waiting is because they believe lower interest rates will make homes more affordable.
And they're right... partially.
A lower interest rate will usually reduce your monthly payment. But if rates drop and more buyers jump into the market, increased competition can push home prices higher.
The part many people miss is that while the lower rate may save you money each month, it can take years to make up for paying a higher purchase price.
In other words, waiting for lower rates doesn't automatically put you ahead.
Instead of trying to perfectly time the market, focus on whether the home, payment, and timing make sense for your goals and your budget.
What do you think? Are lower rates worth waiting for?
