There truly aren’t enough words to describe how incredibly wonderful my sellers were throughout this entire journey.

They didn’t just build a home. They created a legacy on 25 acres— a personally designed, hand-built home filled with thoughtful details, intentional systems & so much heart. As true environmental stewards & incredibly eco-conscious homeowners, they created a property designed to work in harmony with the land while thoughtfully conserving resources. They even incorporated wood salvaged from the home one of the sellers grew up in... in Aurora, Illinois, originally built in 1850. 🔨🕰️

Because they thought of it all, they created an entire SOP with guides for the next owners— everything from how the rain catchment system works & what type of care the established orchard likes, to tips & tricks for using the attached greenhouse & the active & passive solar systems to maximize efficiency while minimizing power bills & waste. 🌲☀️💧

Although the emotional process of selling one’s hand-built, personally designed home is no small thing, they rode the waves of a real estate transaction with such grace. Every decision was logical, thoughtful & a natural part of the process.
