🎸 OakHeart Country Music Festival — Sat 5/30, 1–10pm, Conejo Creek South Park, Thousand Oaks. Tyler Hubbard (Florida Georgia Line) headlining, Uncle Kracker and Presley Tennant on the bill. Kids under 12 free.

🎤 Ojai Blues Fest — Sat 5/30 + Sun 5/31, Ojai Art Center (113 S. Montgomery St). Two nights of live blues in one of the prettiest small towns in California.

⚓ Ventura Harbor Village — All weekend. The Tall Ship Mystic Whaler is docked through June 1 (climb aboard), plus free live music on the Promenade Sunday 1–4pm.

You don't need a plan for Memorial Day weekend. You need the right plan.
The LA guide floating around right now lists 30 events across six cities like you can be in Hermosa and Arcadia at the same time. You can't. So I routed the whole weekend by geography, one lane per day, so you spend it living instead of stuck on the 405.
Friday: the harbor and the Eastside. Fleet Week ship tours in San Pedro, free jazz on the lawn at LACMA.
Saturday: beach town morning, BBQ and a carnival midday, a movie under the stars at Hollywood Forever.
Sunday: the big one. Fiesta Hermosa, yacht and boat parties out of Long Beach Harbor, or a DTLA rooftop if that's more your speed.
Monday: a canyon parade in Topanga, the Fleet Week closing tribute, and first pitch at Dodger Stadium to close it out.
