Underwood Family Farms alone is worth the drive, but it’s only the beginning of fall fun in Ventura County. 🎃

Every fall I get the same question from people moving to Ventura County and the Conejo Valley. Once the weather turns, what is worth doing out here?

Start with Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark. Go early and give yourself plenty of time because there’s so much to see and do.

Then head to Four Seasons of Fun in Simi Valley for pumpkins, family activities and plenty of festive fall photo opportunities.

The other three are worth your Saturday too, especially if you’re new to Ventura County and still figuring out where to head on a fall weekend.

I know this one might be controversial, but I really believe where you live matters just as much as the house itself.

You can renovate the kitchen, repaint the walls, change the finishes, and sometimes even add extensions. But you can’t change your commute time or move the neighborhood closer to the people and places you care about.

This is where I take clients who want a little bit of country without leaving Agoura Hills.

Welcome to Old Agoura, where larger lots, mature trees, nearby trails, and a little more breathing room give you a completely different feel from many of the surrounding neighborhoods.

5354 Lewis Road sits on just over half an acre with a private gated drive, mountain views, room for a pool, and no HOA.

One of my favorite things about Old Agoura is that you can feel tucked away and surrounded by nature while still being close to everything you need.

It’s the kind of neighborhood I’d show someone who tells me, “I want some land and privacy, but I don’t want to feel like I live in the middle of nowhere.”
