Last month some friends and I went goat walking at Good Goat Farm in Perham and it was every bit as entertaining as it sounds. 😂

A few weeks ago, I joined some friends for a walk to Fish River Falls, one of Northern Maine’s hidden gems. The trail is short, the scenery is beautiful, and the sound of the falls makes the walk completely worth it.

One of my favorite parts? The hike begins with a walk across Fort Kent’s grass airstrip before winding through the woods to the falls.

Wicket and explored the woods today- I love noticing all the little changes this time of year — bright green sprouts, shelf fungus on old trees, rushing water, and the woods slowly turning alive again.

It’s official… The ice on Long Lake is OUT! 🙌🌊

This is one of my favorite times of year here in Northern Maine—open water, longer days, and lake season right around the corner. ☀️

We had THREE people guess today’s exact date for the Ice-Out Contest… but one didn’t follow the page, so they were disqualified. That left us with TWO finalists—I went to Martin’s Store to have someone draw the winner.
