Door to door sales, the ultimate test of willpower - love 'em or hate 'em, I've got a lot of respect for those pavement-pounders. Usually I hide, but today my daughter was standing in the front window, sealed my fate. For $140, three bottles of miracle cleaner that smells suspiciously like Windex would cost me $140. I counter-offered $20 for him to go away no cleaner needed, as I respect the hustle. Apparently my neighbors getting all 3 bottles or the fact he could see I kindly wasn’t going to do it, my $20 was accepted and here’s my one bottle.

If you follow me on my personal page, you may have seen my posts about being in DESPERATE need of a structural engineer. The first time I posted, I followed up on every suggestion and unfortunately got nowhere. The second time around, I received some new recommendations, and I'm happy to report that ONE OF THEM WORKED OUT!

I met with a gentleman who came out, took photos of the home, and will be sending everything to a company where their engineers will review the situation.

So, the seller, buyer, lender, and yours truly are still sitting on pins and needles, but at least we now have a plan—and an engineer!

I can't begin to tell you how often I'm searching for contractors, service providers, and specialists for clients, but this one truly stopped all of us in our tracks. It was a reminder of how valuable referrals and community connections can be. Fingers crossed for good news and the next step forward!

The Woodbury County Sheriff's Office was contacted by Tristan Pugi, who is a student from Estonia, attending the TTK University of Applied Sciences, and is working his way through college. Tristan wanted to let the citizens of Woodbury County know that he will be in the county doing door-to-door sales, helping families with education. When Tristan is going door to door, he asks that if you are simply not interested in his products, just let him know, and he will bid you a good day and move on. 📚

The car he is driving is a gray Chevrolet Blazer, plate BCZ829 and it will display ‘Southwestern Advantage’ logos. 🚗
