Serenity Landing - Short term rental Serenity Landing is the home away from home experience you want when traveling. Curt and I are the hands (and heart) behind Serenity Landing.

It’s only a couple blocks from Avera hospital, a few blocks from downtown and McKennan Park and only 15 minutes from the Denny Sanford, Pentagon, Ice Plex and Great Shots! What started as a 1950s home became our nights-and-weekends passion project, fully remodeled into a modern 2026 home. Curt runs his printing business (28 years strong!), and I’m an Operations Manager at a law firm. I focus on the details and guest experience, while Curt brings the craftsmanship—together creating a stay we’re proud to share.

This weekend, Serenity Landing was filled with laughter, friendship, and a whole lot of flower power! These amazing ladies traveled from all over Iowa for a girls’ getaway to see the Toast “Bread” concert, and they brought the fun with them.

From sharing stories on the porch to getting decked out in their groovy 70s gear before heading to the show, they reminded us that you’re never too old to make new memories with lifelong friends.

Hosting groups like this is exactly why we love what we do. Thank you, ladies, for choosing Serenity Landing as your home away from home. We hope your concert was unforgettable, your laughs were endless, and your road trip home was filled with even more great memories.

🚧 Sneak peek! 🚧

The basement kids’ hangout is coming together! 🎉 We just need to move in the air hockey table, games, TVs, and a few finishing touches. 🎮🏒📺

Soon it’ll be the ultimate Kids Cave—a place for the little ones to burn off some energy while the grown-ups get a little peace and quiet upstairs. 😄
