It’s been a few weeks of fun project wrap-ups for us, and this one feels especially rewarding.

We’ve officially completed a multi-year renovation and restoration of our 1940s three-plex next to Perch on Grange Ave. When we purchased the property, windows were boarded or broken, buckets were catching water from the sinks, and the building lacked modern heating and cooling altogether.

Rather than erase its history, we chose to lean into the 1940s—pairing original charm with a thoughtful, modern remodel. With all-new windows and siding, new bathrooms, updated systems, and a complete top-to-bottom renovation, this building has been given a second life while honoring its roots.
