Hi, everyone! I need your help! ❤️

I am part of an incredible nonprofit that helps bridge the gap for for children in our very own community. We’ve been able to help with therapy appointments, medical equipment, school supplies and clothing, swim lessons, camps, etc- ANYTHING that would help a child.

The Sioux Empire Realtors for Kids fundraising gala is just a few weeks away! And while we’re SO excited about the turnout, we are a little low on auction donations this year!

I’m reaching out to YOU to see if you’d consider donating an item or to think about someone you might know- a friend or business connection who may be willing to contribute. Any size and any dollar amount is welcome...it all adds up and helps us raise more for local kids!

Need some ideas? Here are things we typically see in our auction:

• Game, show or concert tickets
• Airbnb stays
• Store or restaurant gift cards
• Service gift cards
• Handmade items
• Lawn chairs or yard games
• Spa packages
• Items for a date night basket
• Grill items
• Pet grooming or boarding
• Fireworks packages
• Gardening packages
• Car detailing
• Photography packages
• Luxury or unique purses and jewelry

And truly anything! People will bid on things they may not need but definitely want, especially when they know their bid supports a cause they love!

If someone comes to mind who owns a business or has something fun they could donate, please reach out and ask!

We need items to be picked up or dropped off by Friday, September 25th at the latest!

Every donation helps us make this year’s Gala auction a success. 💫

Me showing up to the office this week knowing it’s member appreciation week! 🎉

This is my first Member Appreciation Week as staff rather than a member, and you all have been so welcoming and encouraging! It’s been so fun getting a little more settled into this role.

Please forgive me for the daily morning emails you’ll be getting this week 🫣 but I just want you all with me for an epic week at RASE to celebrate!

Well…week 3 in my new position hasn’t been too bad!😉✈️

I’m in Philadelphia this week for NAR’s Communication Directors Institute! It kind of feels full circle because I did the same thing when I first started at Coldwell Banker (went to a conference immediately after I started). I personally believe the best way to learn is to jump in with both feet, surround yourself with people who know what they’re doing, and soak up absolutely everything you can!

I’m so thankful RASE values education so much to send me, a new-hire, here. I hope I can bring back fresh ideas (I already have a list!), and better resources for our association- all to better serve you, our members.

One of the coolest surprises today was that the keynote speaker was none other than John T. Meyer… from Sioux Falls! 😆 It was so fun seeing our beautiful city on the screens and hearing him talk about places and people I know. My table couldn’t believe there were TWO people from South Dakota here! Haha

Since I’m traveling alone, I requested a room close to the elevator lobby…and somehow ended up with an incredible corner room overlooking the city. Not complaining one single bit! 😍 I absolutely LOVE big cities. I don’t think I’d ever want to live in one again, but there’s just something about the energy and the people that I love.

Oh, many would be proud of me for not ordering chicken strips at dinner! I ordered salmon and fries… because they were the only things on the menu I knew how to pronounce 🤣 And they were both incredibly delicious.

Day one is in the books, and I’m so excited for another full day of learning tomorrow. Here’s to bringing home lots of new ideas! 💙

At Realtors for Kids, we’re always looking for opportunities to support organizations that are making an impact in the lives of local children and families.

Recently, we connected with Uniquely Yours Specialized Care, an organization dedicated to providing safe, inclusive, and compassionate care for children and young adults with disabilities ages 3–21. Their programs offer before and after school care, weekend respite care, summer programming, and support on no-school days, helping families access the care and support they need.

We were honored to purchase items from their wish list, and we’d love to help spread the word about the incredible work they’re doing in our community!

After almost 3 years at Coldwell Banker Empire Realty, I am closing one chapter and stepping into a VERY exciting new one!

I am thrilled to announce that I have accepted the role of Education Director at Realtor Association of the Sioux Empire! The real estate industry has given me so much, and i’m excited to continue serving it in a new capacity.

Tony Bachman and Coldwell Banker Empire Realty family- thank you doesn’t quite cover it. Tony has created a sacred workplace culture, and everything I know is from my CBER family. Through my real estate career I have discovered a love and passion for educating our agents, marketing, and elevating everything we do to better serve others. They even managed to turn my favorite color from pink to blue. 😉💙
