Serving the public school system as a teacher for 12 years, I had the opportunity to hone my listening skills in a variety of settings, with a variety of people. From students to parents, co-workers to administrators, listening was key to getting things done. It is this knack for listening to the needs of others that I bring with me to the field of real estate. Additionally, as a teacher, advising and guiding also played a role in my day to day activities. My goal as a teacher was not to dictate what direction a student should go, but rather to advise and guide them in the direction that most benefited them. Likewise, as your agent, my goal will not be to push into making a decision, but rather to advise and guide you as you go through the decision making process. When I’m not busy finding my clients the perfect home or watching the latest market trends, you can find me enjoying a multitude of activities. First and foremost I love watching my two young daughters in the many extra curriculars they love such as dance, basketball, soccer and playing outside, as well as volunteering in their schools. If I’m not too busy keeping up with them, curling up with a good book, spending time at the lake, enjoying a date with my husband, walking my two dogs or doing some intense kickboxing are other ways I like to spend my time. Additionally I serve as a board member for JDRF, the leading organization researching ways to cure Type 1 Diabetes.
