I’m incredibly grateful for achieving Icon Status-one of the highest levels of recognition at eXp, earned through production and contribution to the eXp community.

But this accomplishment is about so much more than a number or an award. It represents every client who trusted me, every past client and friend who sent someone my way, and every referral partner who believed in me. Thank you. I truly don’t take any of it for granted.

And above all, I’m grateful to God. There have been plenty of twists and turns throughout my career, and I’m continually reminded that His plans and timing are better than mine. ❤️

Proud of this milestone, but even more grateful for the people who made it possible.

Thinking about building a new home? 🏡 Avoid these 3 mistakes BEFORE you get started.

After working with hundreds of clients over 26 years in real estate and mortgage lending, these are three of the most common mistakes I see that can set people on the wrong path:

1️⃣ Not researching the builder
You need a builder who builds a quality home-but also someone you can trust and who is transparent about the numbers.

2️⃣ Meeting with the builder before setting your budget
Talk to a reputable lender FIRST. You need to understand the cost of the home, the lot, and how you’ll finance it. Construction loan? Builder financing? Know your options before you start making decisions.

3️⃣ Not planning for the budget to increase
Upgrades, material costs and unexpected expenses happen. Plan for at least a 10% cushion so you’re not caught off guard.

Building a home can be an amazing experience1but getting the financial and planning pieces right from the beginning can make ALL the difference.
