A lot of people think real estate slows down in the winter. Last week proved otherwise.
During one of the coldest weeks we’ve had all year, we closed on 2 homes and put 6 more under contract. Middle of winter. Brutal temps. Business still moving.
What’s interesting right now is buyers and sellers are getting the best of both worlds. There’s inventory that sat a little too long after late fall and early winter listings, and price adjustments are happening. At the same time, new homes hitting the market - priced right and in good condition - are still selling at full price. 3 of our recent listings we sold were exactly that.
The market doesn’t really stop. It just rewards the people who understand timing, stay prepared, and aren’t afraid to move when others assume it’s “not the right season.”
Grateful for a busy week, great clients, and getting to do this work alongside my son Jon. Proof that opportunities don’t wait for warmer weather. Oh, and I always find some time to shoot my bow and prep for an upcoming Canadian moose hunt!
Stay tuned, because this is what I do.
