SISTER BAY, WI — As temperatures across the peninsula continued their seasonal decline this week, sources confirmed what area fall enthusiasts have maintained for years: this is, in fact, the superior time to visit.
"The crowds have dispersed. The trails sit empty. One can enjoy a fire without perspiring through it," stated one local resident, who requested to be identified only as "vindicated."
Officials report that lake temperatures remain agreeable, evening conditions are ideal for outdoor fires, and lodging reservations previously deemed impossible in July are now widely available.
Summer visitors who have already departed were unavailable for comment. 🍂
