Four years ago, Asher Bitz opened SkanWorks with a simple idea: create a space to help people connect and do their best work.
Since then, more than 70 businesses have worked from our space. Some stopped in for a day pass while passing through town. Some grew into private offices.
Others just needed a mailbox, a meeting room, or a place to get started.
Watching those companies launch, hire, and sometimes even outgrow us has been one of the most rewarding parts of building SkanWorks. It reinforced something Asher believed from the start. When people have the right space, growth follows.
That same mindset is behind his next chapter, Ward Asset Management.
Ward helps businesses across Upstate New York find, build, and manage spaces that support where they’re headed next.
