Even Bigfoot is a little quieter today. 💔

Yesterday we say goodbye to the one and only Dolly Parton — a woman whose legacy goes far beyond the songs she sang and the movies she made.

Dolly showed the world what it looks like to use success to lift others up. She gave millions of children the gift of reading through her Imagination Library, supported education and healthcare, helped fund medical research, stood behind communities in times of need, and gave back again and again. 📚❤️

She came from very little, never forgot where she came from, and spent a lifetime making sure her success meant something for other people.

The world knew the rhinestones, the big hair, the unmistakable voice, and the incredible songs — but perhaps her greatest legacy will be her kindness, generosity, humor, and enormous heart.

Bigfoot knows a thing or two about becoming a legend… and Dolly, you were truly one of the greatest. 🦶✨

Thank you for the music. Thank you for the laughter. Thank you for the books placed into the hands of millions of children. And most of all, thank you for showing us how much good one person can put into the world.

Rest easy, Dolly. Your light will shine for generations. 🦋🤍
