📊 May 2026 Market Update

The latest numbers are in, and our local market continues to show steady activity across both Slidell and St. Tammany Parish.

In Slidell, 132 homes sold during May with sellers receiving an average of 99% of their asking price. Across the Northshore of Louisiana, 386 homes sold with an average sales price of $382,948.

UPDATE from City of Slidell, Louisiana

The City of Slidell is launching a new Code Enforcement process designed to be faster, clearer, and more responsive.

What this means for Slidell residents and business owners:
• You may see more violation notices posted throughout the city.
• If a violation is not corrected, a hearing may be scheduled more quickly, and a minimum $250 hearing fee may be assessed to the property owner.

How the process works:
Notice issued → Violation not addressed → Hearing scheduled (notice provided 15 days in advance) → Hearing occurs and judgement issued with fines, penalties, and city correction authorized.

If you receive a notice, please contact us right away. We're here to help you resolve the issue and avoid additional fees or penalties.
