Your first birthday in heaven???? A question of you not being here is asked everyday!!!! It’s hard to believe you’re not here. You were taken from us so suddenly, without warning, and I still have no closure. No answers. Just a heavy heart and an emptiness that never seems to ease.
There is not a day that goes by that your name isn’t spoken, that you’re not remembered, missed, or talked about. You are still such a huge part of our lives—even in your physical absence, your presence is everywhere.
I talk to you every day. I look at your picture and still find myself in disbelief, trying to make sense of a loss that will never make sense. I know you hear me. I know you see my pain. And I know you know just how broken my heart is without you.
You may be gone from this world, but you will never be gone from my heart.
