This past weekend, we had the privilege of celebrating the life of a very special woman, Mrs. Carr.

Some people have a way of loving others so well that their influence reaches far beyond what they may ever realize. Mrs. Carr was one of those people.

She was a dear friend, a mentor, an encourager, and such a special part of the lives of so many in our Action Homes family. Her kindness was genuine, her faith was evident, and she had a way of making people feel loved and cared for.

She poured into generations of people, and we are incredibly thankful that we were among them. Her wisdom, prayers, encouragement, and friendship have left a mark on our lives that will not be forgotten.

Mrs. Carr, you loved us well. It was a blessing to know you, to learn from you, and to be loved by you.

While you will be deeply missed, we find so much comfort in knowing how ready you were to meet your Maker. We know you are in the arms of Jesus now, and we can only imagine the joy of that homecoming.

Through her music, her generosity, her faith, and her love for people, Dolly touched generations. She represented so much of what makes Tennessee special, and her impact will be felt for generations to come.

The Senior Center does so much to keep our local seniors active, connected, and involved in the community, and we’re happy to play a small part in supporting what they do.

Today’s fundraiser helps support their programs and transportation services, including the buses that help seniors stay connected to activities and services throughout the year.
