Nationally, more than 4 million existing homes are expected to come onto the market each year through 2032 due to aging and mortality among older homeowners. This will significantly impact Delawareans as we have over 60,000 over 65 home owner since 1990.

So grateful Jason and Paloma trusted me to help them buy their home!

No one likes to be rejected. 🙅🏾‍♂️ 😞

When you enter real estate sales or really any sales career rejection becomes your friend. I probably get rejected more in a month than most people do in a few years. 🤣😂This is because that’s the nature of finding the correct clients that fit for my business and being able to serve them superbly. 🤵🏿🏡

I remember when I first started in this business, I wasn’t sure how to handle people not calling me back, slamming doors in my face, or just plain not showing up to appointments then never answering the phone again. I felt like they were rejecting me personally, and it started to mess with my self esteem.

As I’m getting more transparent and authentic with my audience I want to share how I handle rejection , in a way , that allows exponential growth. If you can learn to handle rejection with the right mindset, it becomes rocket fuel to your personal and professional development!

A very successful week capped off on this beautiful Friday with alot of positive movement in my business!!

Clear to close on a client coming from out of state (AZ 🥵) so super excited to get her to the Diamond State. Cory Sheena you killed it as usual!

Officially under contract with 2nd buyer of the week which is great. He wasn’t looking to move until November but gotta strike while the irons hot!

And one of My Wilmington listings is pending with a quick close! Double ending this one so super grateful both parties allowed me to represent them. My seller is ready to buy in the New Castle area so we hit the streets next week! The buyer is ready to continue his rental portfolio!

It’s scary, new, nerve wrecking and so many more emotions I’m forgetting but, I’ll always cherish that time in my career. My first showing was truly a story so I figured I’d share it. I was freshly licensed, full of enthusiasm,and super broke lol. 🤷🏾‍♂️
This makes for an Interesting day but you learn so much on each appointment as a Realtor. This was no different. This story keeps me humble and I tell it all to time to family so figured you guys would get a laugh.
