🍁 A huge thank you to the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce for sharing our Thanksgiving Food Drive! 🦃

We are on a mission to give back to families in our local community this Thanksgiving, and we’d love everyone’s support to reach our goal!

📍 Drop-Off Location:

⏰ Donation Hours:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

📅 Deadline:
Donations accepted through November 13

🛒 Most Needed Items:
Thanksgiving Meal Staples: Canned green beans, corn, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, boxed stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, pie crust mix, etc.

Everyday Pantry Staples: Peanut butter, jelly, cereal, pasta & sauce, rice, canned beans, canned soup, and shelf-stable milk.
Kid-Friendly Snacks: Granola bars, Pop-Tarts, mac & cheese, fruit cups, and crackers.

🦃 Final Week Push (Nov 9–13):
During our final week, we are especially asking for frozen turkeys, hams, turkey breasts, and ham portions (monetary donations for turkeys and hams are also welcome!).

Every single can, box, and bag makes a huge difference.

Storm season is giving coastal North Carolina a reminder to be prepared. 🌧️

With storm activity affecting our region, now is a good time for Topsail-area homeowners and residents to check a few things around their properties.

🏡 A few things worth doing before severe weather arrives:
• Secure patio furniture, trash cans, and other loose outdoor items.
• Check gutters and outdoor drains for debris.
• Charge devices and gather flashlights, batteries, and essential supplies.
• Review your evacuation zone and emergency plan.
• Keep an eye on local weather alerts and official updates.

For rental property owners, it's also a good reminder to review your property's storm preparation plan, especially if you don't live nearby.

This Thanksgiving season, we’re coming together to help make sure more local families have food on the table. 🧡

MPM is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive, and we’re inviting our community to help us fill the shelves with non-perishable food donations now through November 13.

All donations collected will be given to Folkstone Original Freewill Baptist Church for distribution to families in our local community.

🥫 Pantry and Thanksgiving meal staples are welcome
🦃 November 9–13, we’ll also be collecting frozen turkeys, hams, turkey breasts and ham portions
💛 Monetary donations toward turkeys and hams are welcome as well

Our goal is 500 pantry items + 25 Thanksgiving turkeys/hams, and every donation gets us a little closer!
