2022 was an interesting year to say the least. The year started off with record-setting numbers, followed by an abrupt reset of prices in many areas. The uncertainty of the market, rapidly rising interest rates caused many buyers and sellers to "wait and see". Over the past few months interest rates have dropped back down into the mid 6% range and have held steady. While inventory is up compared to a year ago, prices are holding steady and in some micro markets, prices are still rising.
