One of my favorite local sushi restaurants in downtown Aspen is Matsuhisa. Locals and visitors, gather here for great sushi, conversation, energy, and atmosphere. Overtime, you begin recognizing familiar faces, laughing with the staff, and settling into the rhythm of Aspen life. This is one of those places for me. ❄️

What the Gorsuch store reveals about Aspen culture. What I observed is that people don’t just come here to buy things. They come here because craftsmanship, quality, warmth, and timelessness still matter. The pieces feel less about trends and more about timeless living. I came into the store because I love the sheep in the window and the beautiful clothing displays… And stage to learn from Kaylee how the Gorsuch family started with a small gas station ski shop in Gunnison Colorado and built something that people from around the world recognize and come to Aspen to shop for the ultimate experience and find luxury clothing and accessories. “You get it once…you keep it for years.” Beautiful things – timeless, cherished things – are worth buying and keeping for years to come. 🖤

Quiet winter days like this are part of what makes Aspen special. The gondola rises above fresh snow, the air feels still, and everything slows down, just enough to notice it. These are the moments that find Mount living – not rushed, not loud, just steady and present.
