Sunset Mountain Village was founded in early 2001 by developers who dreamed of creating a community in Pocahontas County that was not only beautiful and well maintained, but also had excellent roads for easy, year around access and preserved green space for all to enjoy. Owners from all across the country were drawn to SMV: our community now has owners from as far west as California, as far north

as New Jersey, and as far south as South Florida...a geographically diverse group, all with a common love of natural, mountain beauty and a 'simpler' way of life.
