Did you know that there is a TN state law that allows land owners to build with timber harvested and milled on their land? So much of lumber used in modern stick framing comes from far away. We are going old school and building our overlook pavilion with native Timbers harvested and milled onsite and constructed in true mortise and tenon timber frame joinery. Standby for updates.

Here’s one of summer projects: community lake site. Ponds and lakes on the plateau need a continuous clean water source but due to environmental regs and best practice, damming streams is not possible, so our solution has been to drill wells to supply continuous spring water to keep our lake full and clear. Our site will utilize existing slopes for a recirculating rapid for pond oxygenation for fishing and also considering some possible conceptual lake recreation amenities shown here.

Our last Spring Concert event previously scheduled for this weekend has been postponed for a TBD date in the Fall.
