OUTAGE UPDATE: July 23, 2026 @ 2:30PM. The winds have caused a significant number of trees from outside the right of ways to fall into the lines and bring them down. Crews are working hard to make repairs and restore power as efficiently as possible given the variable conditions. Around 45 outages still remain, affecting roughly 1,165 members. OUTAGE UPDATE: July 23, 2026 @ 12:30PM. We still have around 50 separate outages, with roughly 1,700 members affected. The crews are still working hard to restore outages despite the wind, and will continue throughout the afternoon and evening. Please DO NOT approach any downed power lines or trees on lines.

OUTAGE UPDATE: July 23, 2026 @ 10:30AM. We currently have over 50 separate outages, affecting roughly 2,000 members on the Central Kenai Peninsula. Crews are continuing to restore power, but additional outages continue to pop up as winds continues to pick up. OUTAGE UPDATE: May 13, 2026 @ 9:30PM. The outage has been isolated and all members have now been restored. Thank you for your patience. A crew will patrol the location of the fault on the transmission line to identify the cause of the outage and complete repairs. Given the location, no members should be further affected at this time.

The outage has been caused by a fault on the transmission line between Diamond Ridge and Soldotna, and a crew is being dispatched to find the specific cause of the outage now. We are assessing the location and will be working to isolate the outage and bring members back to power as soon as safely possible.

OUTAGE UPDATE: March 23, 2026 @ 7:45PM. We have received initial reports from State Troopers that a snow machine has clipped a guide wire along the transmission line between Anchor Point and Ninilchik and this has caused the widespread outage. All members have been restored, as the outage has been isolated to a specific segment of the line. Repairs will be completed as soon as possible, but this should not affect any members in the meantime. Thank you for your patience and have a great evening.
