At Wings & Tails Wildlife, we’re about more than wildlife removal—we’re about creating thoughtful, humane solutions that protect both people and wildlife. 🦝🌿

Every animal we encounter is simply looking for the same basic things we all need: shelter, safety, food, and a place to raise their young. Our job is to resolve conflicts safely while helping homeowners protect their properties for the long term.

Our approach is built on:

🌿 Humane Wildlife Services
🏠 Property Protection
🔍 Long-Term Prevention
🤝 Honest Communication
🌎 Respect for Nature

We believe the best wildlife solutions are the ones that work for everyone involved.

Whether you’re dealing with raccoons, squirrels, bats, birds, groundhogs, or other unwanted wildlife, our team is committed to providing professional service with a humane-first mindset.

Kind to wildlife. Serious about solutions.

Not every wildlife rescue happens in an attic or under a deck—sometimes it's inside a dryer vent. 🐦

Recently, we safely removed a bird that had become trapped inside a homeowner's dryer vent. While vents can seem like a safe nesting spot to birds, they can quickly become dangerous for both the animal and the home. Blocked dryer vents can reduce airflow, create fire hazards, and put wildlife at risk.

Our team carefully removed the bird without harm and helped ensure the vent was safe and functioning properly again.

If you're hearing chirping in your walls, noticing nesting material near your vent, or experiencing reduced dryer performance, it may be time for a professional inspection.

At Wings & Tails Wildlife, we believe in humane solutions that protect both wildlife and your property.

At Wings & Tails Wildlife, we provide safe, humane groundhog trapping and relocation services designed to protect both your property and the wildlife. Our goal is long-term prevention — not just a temporary fix.

If you’re noticing digging, holes near your foundation, or signs of groundhog activity around your property, it may be time for a professional inspection.

A quiet porch in Putnam Valley turned out to have a hidden tenant underneath…

This woodchuck had been digging out a space under the porch and making itself comfortable — but over time, burrowing like this can lead to foundation issues, sinking concrete, and structural damage.

Our team stepped in with a humane solution:

✔ Safe trapping
✔ Careful relocation
✔ Long-term prevention recommendations

Wildlife belongs in the wild — not under your home.

If you’re noticing holes, digging, or movement around your porch, deck, or shed, it’s best to handle it early before the damage gets worse.

Weekend plans? Add this quick wildlife check to your list.

A few small steps now can save you from a much bigger (and more expensive) problem later.

✔ Check your roofline for gaps or loose vents
✔ Look under decks and sheds for burrowing
✔ Secure trash bins tightly
✔ Trim branches away from your home
✔ Make sure windows, doors, and screens are sealed

Wildlife is always looking for their next safe place to settle — don’t let it be your home.

If you notice signs of activity, it’s best to act early with a professional inspection and a long-term solution.

Bats found their way into a home in Cross River, NY — right through small gaps along the roofline.

What looks like a tiny opening to us can be the perfect entry point for bats seeking a warm, safe attic space.

⚠️ And here’s where it gets risky…
Trying to block or trap them without a proper plan can actually make the situation worse — especially during pup season.

At Wings & Tails Wildlife, we use humane exclusion methods that allow bats to safely exit while preventing them from getting back in — done the right way, the first time.

If you’re noticing:
• Activity around your roof at dusk
• Scratching or movement in the attic
• Staining near entry points

It’s time for a professional inspection before the problem grows.

Foxes are on the move in South Salem 🦊

This little visitor might look adorable (and they are), but increased fox activity is common this time of year as they search for food and safe places to rest or raise their young.

Seeing a fox on your property isn’t always a problem — but if they start getting too comfortable around homes, decks, or structures, it’s important to handle it the right way.

At Wings & Tails Wildlife, we focus on safe, humane solutions that protect both your property and the animals.

Noticed something moving under the porch in Putnam Valley… and sure enough — a woodchuck had made itself right at home.
While it might seem harmless at first, burrowing under porches and foundations can lead to serious structural damage over time.
That’s why we stepped in with a safe, humane solution:
✔ Live trapping
✔ Careful relocation
✔ Prevention to stop future activity
Wildlife like woodchucks aren’t causing problems on purpose — they’re just looking for shelter. The goal is to protect your home without harming the animal.
If you’re seeing signs of digging or activity around your porch, deck, or foundation, it’s best to address it early.
