Whew!! Life got BUSY! In August, I started full-time teaching… again😝🤣 Teaching requires a lot of time, and if you want to be the best teacher you can be, it requires 100 % effort and dedication each day to ensure your students excel.

There are some important factors to consider:

•Financial readiness: Do you have a good credit score, a secure income, and enough funds for a down payment/closing costs?

•Location: Are you where you want to settle down for the next 5+ years? If so, it will be cheaper to buy in the long run.

•Housing market: Take a look at the housing availability, interest rates, and prices. If the supply of homes/apartments for rent is limited, the cost to rent will increase. Then, you would be better off looking at owning a home.

“It’s hot and it’s cold,” Redfin stated about the current housing market. Due to limited inventory, fewer homes are selling this spring, but the ones that are on the market are going quick.💨

New listings for sale dropped 19% year over year April 9th through May 7th. Despite the monthly decline in inventory, pending sales are starting to increase indicating buyers are there and the market is competitive. From March to May, nearly half of the homes that do sell are doing so within TWO weeks.
