Peace of Wood is a business I started in 2022 in the wake of the 2017 & 2019 wildfires in Sonoma County. Conservation, preservation and restoration of the Redwoods and natural forest in our backyard is near and dear to me. With the alarming increase of climate change, I decided to offer 3 financial scholarships in the name of Peace of Wood to 3 local high school seniors. These recipients are the future stewards of our planet and will be instrumental in reducing our carbon footprint. I hope to do this scholarship every year and encourage awareness.
