🏡 A quick reminder for anyone who purchased a home this year! 🏡

A dear client who recently closed on her home reached out because she received her property tax bill in the previous owner’s name. It reminded me that the Tuolumne County Tax Collector has mailed out the 2026–2027 property tax bills, so I figured I’d share a quick reminder!

If you purchased a home this year and your property taxes are not paid through your monthly mortgage payment (impound account), keep an eye out for your tax bill. If you haven’t received it yet, you may want to contact the Tax Collector’s office to make sure your bill is on its way.

And if your bill arrives in the previous owner’s name, don’t panic! Give the Tax Collector’s office a call so they can help you get things sorted out.
