NO NEW SIGNS OF ACTIVE CANCER ON MY PET/CT SCAN!!! 🙏😭💜🦋

Thank you, Jesus!!! That’s the update—the news I’ve been praying to share.

After finding out in December that my thyroid cancer had returned, this year has been A LOT: biopsies, two surgeries, another round of radioactive iodine, countless appointments, scans, bloodwork, and more fear and anxiety than I probably ever admitted out loud.

I was terrified of this PET scan. No one prepares you to hear the words, “It’s cancer.” And when you’ve already heard, “Your cancer is back,” it becomes really hard not to wait for the other shoe to drop.

But this time, the news is GOOD. Really, really good. ❤️

I know this journey isn’t completely over. I’ll continue to be closely monitored with regular bloodwork and scans, and I’ll follow whatever comes next with my doctors.

But today, I’m celebrating. I’m thanking God. And I’m incredibly grateful for every person who prayed for me, checked on me, sent me a message, or simply kept me and my family in their thoughts throughout all of this.

Today, I’m holding on to these beautiful words:

No signs of active cancer. 🙏💜🦋

After this past year, those words mean EVERYTHING. God is good!!
