The trip to Ball State / Muncie takes you through Gas City Indiana in the heart of Hooterville. Would you not expect cheap gas in Gas City. They have a drive through Liquor store..Very cool post for street signs. And the old school had one of the coolest fire escapes. If I was on the 2 nd floor I would be banging that fire alarm! Slide Time! It is a gas !

This Spring report was in my mail. I read through it and what caught my attention was the top food donors. People feel the need to talk down Walmart I guess because they do not like how they do business? Or we just always have to have a whipping post. Top Food Donors, all of those stores. It made me think I hope those talking down Walmarts are donating to the food bank? If you did not get this report in the mail? Donate and educate.

November is here. Time to check batteries in smoke and carbon monitors/alarms. My plumber advise disconnect hoses from house!
If you have a Humidifier change the vent on the duct work from Summer to Winter , check the pad in the unit to see if it needs replaced. Open basement ducts to get warm air in lower level. CHANGE the furnace filter. ok that's it.

Winter cleaning? Every year we are told to change batteries in your smoke detectors. Yes you should but you also should pull out your refrigerator , take off the back cover and clean the coil and compressor. Refrigerators are not self cleaning and having all the dust and dirt off the coils will have it run more efficently and last longer. Do the same to your dryer duct for saftey reasons. I purchased this great little brush from Menards to clean in between the coils and this light works wonders for hand free work.

Spring is here? maybe this is the time to start cutting back trees and shrubs before they get out of hand. Ivy and vines growing on the outside of a home should be cut off at the ground and removed off Chimmney, siding and walls. As nice as it does appear the vines bring pest into the home plus the vines destroy brick work and siding. Enjoy spring.

When you hear the Real Estate market is at a all time lack of inventory? I just late afternoon listed 52814 Sporn Dr SB IN 46635 , The showing schedule is booked solid from 9.00 am to 9.00 PM
This home is large and in a good area. Needs a bit of TLC but is in the hard to find under 200k club
