It’s well known that you can tell a lot about a restaurant by the wines they choose to carry—but it is every bit as true that you can tell a lot about a wine by the places that choose to carry them.

And that’s why Glen Hollow is so thrilled to be served at Hollerhorn Distilling by the glass on their menu. Because everything Karl Neubauer does, he does with meticulous attention to detail and intentionality.

To celebrate, the co-owners of Glen Hollow will be pouring their Dry Riesling on Friday, June 12 from 6-7:30pm!

We hope you’ll come by and try this wine which was named a Top 30 Riesling for 2026 (94 points) by and a Wine of the Week (91 points) by

Hope to see you soon! 🥂

HELLLOOOOO GENEVA!!

Come join us at Aszu Wine & Spirits this Friday, June 5, from 5-7pm with Somme and owner Michalis Kalampoukas as we pour samples from our 2024 Dry Riesling and Estate Chardonnay!

Our inaugural vintages have been catching fire here in the Finger Lakes and this is your chance to see what all the fuss is about!

We’ll also have cheese and charcuterie pairings to accompany these beautiful pours, but has there ever been a more charming pairing to any wine than Michalis?

For years, he was the Somme for FLX Table, educating all who sat down for their extraordinary meals. Now he has launched one of the most captivating bottle shops in the Finger Lakes, which will be celebrating its year anniversary shortly.

I hope you will join us for the evening in this lovingly curated space!

Starting this Friday, June 5th, you’ll be able to get Dry Riesling at Hollerhorn!

Some combinations just make sense and that’s especially true for two beverage makers here in the Bristol Valley—Glen Hollow and Hollerhorn.

For years, Glen Hollow has been introducing visitors to the best beverages and experiences in the Western FLX—and Hollerhorn has been producing both.

To celebrate getting together, the folks at Glen Hollow got things started with a little soiree down in the glen for a few friends. Turns out, Glen Hollow’s NYC brand ambassador Adrienne Cooper was having her birthday, so there were two things to celebrate that night.

Wine educator (and fellow Life in the Finger Lakes author) Maiah Johnson Dunn and her husband Andy were joined by creative Sarah Calandra and winemaker Rick Porter of Heron Hill — Glen Hollow co-owner and South Bristol Town Supervisor Lisa Moore created a sumptuous feast featuring (of course) Riesling chicken along with Glen Hollow’s 2024 vintage.

Afterward, Karl Neubauer did what he loves most: sharing the fruits of his labor, including a beautiful grappa aged in barrels used for Saperavi wine, and an apple brandy. (The brandy was an exceptional pairing with the apple polenta cake topped by a chantilly cream spiked with hollerhorn Old Growth).

It was an unforgettable night and featured many other FLX wines … but that’s for another post.

The most important thing to know is that the party does not end there: come down to Hollerhorn this weekend to try this fantastic Dry Riesling! (And maybe catch some on Saturday while you’re at it). And stay tuned for another party update because the Glen Hollow owners will be coming down soon to pour for you!

Cheers! 🥂💜🥃

There is a rich Historical tradition of wine-making here on Seneca Point in South Bristol that goes back nearly 150 years with George Miller of Miller’s landing. We’re proud to continue that history with the help of our neighbors at Heron Hill who have been growing grapes here for over 50 years.
