Tucked away in Fennville, Evergreen Lane Farm & Creamery is one of those places you’d probably drive right past if someone didn’t tell you about it.

The adults get to sample delicious artisan cheese.
The kids get to meet the goats.
And somehow, everybody is happy.

We stopped here as a family, and I love discovering these unexpected little places that make a trip feel so much more special.

My recommendation? Pick up some cheese for later, grab a bottle of local wine, and make an evening of it back at the house.

Everyone comes to South Haven in the summer.

Family vacation rule #1:

Everybody doesn’t have to want the same vacation. 😂

Husband and the kids? Off to HawksHead for a round of golf. ⛳

Me? I’m busy doing absolutely NOTHING by the pool.

Book in hand. Float within reach. Mahjong if I’m feeling ambitious.

Then we all meet up for a bite at Dine at the Domes before heading back for a hot-tub soak and a fire under the stars.

Golf for them. Pool for me. Dinner together.

Husband and the kids head to HawksHead for golf, while I stay behind at the house with a book, the pool, and maybe a little mahjong.

Then we meet up for a casual family bite at DayDream Domes.
