Lake Michigan Property

I'm sure you have heard about the hurricane devastation in NW North Carolina and other states. I grew up in this area and went to college at Appalachian State. My family lives in this area. Fortunately, none of my relatives were hurt—lots of destruction but no one was seriously hurt.

My niece, Holly Carver and her family are doing everything they can to help those with no way to leave their homes. For example, today 25 trucks loaded with supplies are traveling up the mountain (normally a 45 minute trip is now 1.5 hrs) and meeting a large group of volunteers with ATVs to carry the supplies into areas with blocked or washed-out roads. They are also working directly with their church. I want to help them.

If you would like to join me in this effort, there are several avenues:

1. Venmo or write me a check and I'll get it to Holly. She will buy what is needed and help to get it in the hands of those stranded or have lost their homes. My Venmo is . Phone number last 4 digits are 2097.
