Work under and support survey crew chief. The candidate should have a willingness to learn how to operate robotic total stations, GPS and data collection software. A valid driver’s license is required. Candidate should have a love of the outdoors and the ability to carry land survey equipment over varied terrain.
Typical responsibilities and job requirements include:
• Work on a team to complete various types of surveys
• Positive mental attitude and willingness to learn
• Lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Candidate must be self-motivated
This is an entry level job and the successful candidate should have the ability to develop more skills in order to take on new responsibilities and move up in the company.

Individual will work under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor to complete measurement and staking tasks for private and public sector clients. Candidates must have a high school diploma and experience with boundary and/or construction surveying. A valid driver’s license is required.
Typical responsibilities and job requirements include:
• Conduct many types of surveys such as boundary, topographic and
construction
• Must be able to use GPS, Robotic Total Stations, Data collectors and Levels
• Work is outdoors and the individual must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Interpret maps, plats and construction drawings
• Perform survey calculations
• Work independently
• Maintain a safe work site.

Pay is dependent on candidate's experience.

This buck found our guys working along Lake Michigan and decided to hang out with them. He followed the crew around for an hour. Land surveying is always interesting.

The is a point cloud animation with the topography and vegetation shown. Our software allows us to view and analize just the terrrain, vegetation, buildings, pavement or any combination there of.

This 3D model was created using photogrametry. Our UAV captured about 2000 photo's of this property. Using sophisticated software, these photo's are stiched together and georefrenced. A 3D model of the site is developed and checked against measurements obtained in the field by our survey crews. In the end you get a very accurate and comprehensive map of your project.
