More single-family homes were sold in Eagle Mountain than in any other city on the Wasatch Front during this year's second quarter, according to UtahRealEstate.com. A total of 284 homes were sold in Eagle Mountain, representing a 36% increase compared to the 209 homes sold during the same quarter last year. Tooele ranked second, with 268 single-family homes sold. Overall, 5,602 single-family homes were sold on the Wasatch Front in the second quarter, a slight decrease of less than 0.5% compared to the 5,625 homes sold during the same period last year. On average, single-family homes stayed on the market for 21 days before selling.

Alpine ranks as the No. 1 most expensive area on the Wasatch Front in terms of median house prices in the second quarter, according to UtahRealEstate.com. Although a spike in mortgage interest rates dropped house prices in the second half of last year, prices have been moving upward since the beginning of 2023. At $1.039 million, Huntsville, home to Snowbasin Ski Resort, took second place for the highest median home price. Emigration Canyon was No. 3 at $1.018 million.
