4 years ago I tried this hike. I was fresh off two major colon surgeries and facing the last phase of my marriage. I had a colostomy bag at the time and wasn’t able to make it to the top. It’s not a hard hike…but was hard enough at the time for how weak I was and how bad my mindset was. I’m grateful to my God and my savior for new beginnings and second chances. I’m grateful to friends and family who have stuck with me and not forsaken me. This time of year I am most grateful for my Savior who will never abandon me…who gave his life for me so I can stumble through my journey and see him again. I love him. I honor him. I praise him. 🥹🫶🏻❤️‍🩹❤️
