Today we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families who have carried that loss every day since.

We're grateful for the firefighters, police officers, medics, and service members who ran toward the danger, and for those who still answer that call today.

What we remember most is what came after: the country came together in love and support.

Young children have no memory of 9/11. 🇺🇸

South Jordan wants to help make a hard to explain event more understandable.

The 9/11 Project is at the Bastian Center in South Jordan, 2100 W 11400 S, Sept 10 through 14, 9am to 9pm, free to the community. It is hosted by the Major Brent Taylor Foundation, named for the North Ogden mayor and Utah National Guard major killed in Afghanistan in 2018.

Three things worth knowing before you go:

🏛️ The museum is self guided, artifacts and firsthand accounts, so you set the pace and can leave when a younger kid is done.

🚒 Touch-a-Truck is the on-ramp for little ones, with fire, police, SWAT and military vehicles and the people who operate them standing right there.

🤝 The resource fair is where the volunteer sign-ups are, if the visit leaves you wanting to do something.
