Here's everything happening this September 👇

🎡 Utah State Fair — Sept 10–20 at the Utah State Fairpark. 170 years of tradition across 65 acres. Rides, fair food, livestock, grandstand concerts, and a special America 250 celebration. Best visited on a weekday for smaller crowds!

🏛️ Greek Festival 50th Anniversary — Sept 11–13 at Holy Trinity Cathedral. Free admission. Gyros, dolmathes, baklava, live Greek music and folk dancing. Friday and Saturday 11am–10pm, Sunday 11am–8pm.

🇮🇹 Festa Italiana — Sept 19–20 at The Gateway. Free admission. 11th year of SLC's beloved Italian festival — 50,000+ attendees, Italian food and wine, cooking demos, exotic Italian cars and live entertainment. Saturday 11:30am–10pm, Sunday 11:30am–7pm.

🦸 FanX Salt Lake Comic Con — Sept 24–26 at the Salt Palace Convention Center. Hayden Christensen and Brandon Sanderson already confirmed with more to be announced. Celebrity panels, cosplay, gaming and KidCon.

Here's what you need to know at a glance 👇
✅ One ADU per lot — internal or detached

✅ Internal ADUs have no maximum size and are exempt from impact fees

✅ Detached ADUs can be up to 1,000 sq ft

✅ No minimum lot size required

✅ Owner must live on the property (primary or ADU)

✅ Short-term rentals (Airbnb/VRBO) are prohibited — long-term rentals are fully permitted
💰 Costs range from $75,000 for a basement conversion up to $400,000+ for a detached new build — and there are city-backed financing programs available for Westside homeowners.
